Hot on the heels of the violin ones!
Spurred on by this thread on the ABRSM forum, I've got around to making these sheets, following the new requirements for next year's syllabus.
Degzi has been busy, and after producing flash cards for Grade 2 violin scales and arpeggios, he's done Grades 1 and 3 as well. These are a brilliant way of being really confident that you can play all your scales equally well - cut them out, shuffle them up, then play one at a time as you pick the card out of the pile. You'll never accidentally neglect one, and you can be sure that you'll be able to play them in whatever order the examiner chooses.
Edited on June 8th 2013: Please note that the Grade 4 scales have been corrected. The older version included D major rather than E major - a rather embarrassing and problematic error!
This follows the new ABRSM violin syllabus for 2012 onwards, including the new option for even notes rather than long tonics. I've included the fingerings I prefer to teach, such as starting two octave scales high on the G string in later grades, and three octave arpeggios shifting across the perfect fourths.
